Happy Birthday, Dear Friend!

One of my dearest friends, and my kiddos' godmother, invited us over to her home to celebrate her 30th birthday.  It was such a sweet event!

Her whole family pitched in to cook a delicious meal and she baked herself an adorable cake adorned with music notes.  She plays the piano for her church and teaches lessons to little hands, so the music notes fit her perfectly.

    

She handmade and hand-dyed the cutest hanging coffee filter balls to decorate her charming home.  She has more patience than I do, because I decided to just buy some hanging decor for Sandy's upcoming party.  When talking about the coffee filter balls over dinner, she said each ball took 20 coffee filters to glue together.  That's what I call dedication!

After dinner, the rest of the celebration was spent opening presents, coloring, gently banging on her grand piano, and watching movies till midnight.  She has spent thirty years making the world a better place and we wish her many more years of sweet music!
